I will be present; I will be engaged with our residents and other stakeholders, representing our City within our community and among our partners at all times, not just around the time of an election.

Continue to focus on ensuring that our residents are considered first priority in our decision making, continuing to support policies that will promote a more inclusive and responsive government in Sunrise.

Ensure that we execute a strategic plan that captures a vision for, and guides our city’s future development over the next 25 years. As commissioner I have been a lead proponent of the Sunrise Vision 2041 master-plan currently being developed.

Promote concrete measures to assist small businesses to grow and create jobs by offering tax incentives, grants and low costs loans were appropriate tied to employment generation.

I will advocate for the creation of an affordable housing trust fund in Sunrise to be seeded from a loan from our enterprise funds. This will be used to offer incentives to build more affordable housing and low cost loans for home improvements of our depressed housing stock.

I will deliver a State of the City address to all stakeholders annually to inform our community about the plans, programs and initiatives in our city. Not just at a chamber of commerce luncheon and to other small special interest groups.

As our vibrant City embraces its diverse community, it is time to usher in a new era of Leadership. Our City, comprising a rich tapestry of cultures, backgrounds, and perspectives deserves a mayor who will champion a bold vision for our collective future. A future that considers the needs of all of our stakeholders. Let us come together to elect a leader who will harness our unique strengths, foster inclusivity, drive accountability from within and promote progress for all.
